This Everex had a bad center pin and ground lug, Also this Everex had a bunch of lint stuck
in the cooling Fan, The customer supplied the New DC Jack, it was the wrong part and I did not
have one that matched as this unit is outdated, The DC Jack had the correct rear power pin
layout – so i flattened the 2 Front ground lugs and wire wrapped the New DC Jack to the motherboard.

This is 10 times stronger then the regular front end ground pins – so this DC Jack repair
will last the remainder lifetime of this Everex! The laptop is now charging to 100% with ease!

Overall this old machine is running great and should last a 2-5 years of use!
