This IBUYPOWER NL8 had a broken center pin on the dc jack i replaced it with a new one and the center hole on the circuit board was worn out from over heating of current pass through, so i had to Hot Wire the Dc Jack to the main fuse bank on the motherboard.
Also this IBUY POWER NL8 had 2 rear case mount tabs that were both broken, i used my cloth tape and superglue to rebuild them, normally I would use epoxy but the customer is on a tight budget.
Most shops for this repair would charge a total of $150.00 I am only charging this customer $80.00, the original quote was for $60.00 plus shipping but the laptop had 2 other issues.
Now the laptop powers on and charges fine.
